PeeWee  - March Classic 2011

 

 

The Gardiner Tiger PeeWees faced two of the toughest teams during the Round Robin portion of the tournament. These teams that went on to play each other for the championship.  Still, they held their own and stayed competitive even though they lost the first game against the Westchester Mariners 4-2 and the second game against the Haverford Hawks 2-0. In these two games, Alex saw 92 shots on goal, and turned aside all but 6 of them.  They won the last game against Bangor Red 4-1.

The following is a video compilation from Game 2 against the Haverford Hawks.  Alex saw 51 shots in this game and only let two in. The video doesn’t show all of the saves, but it gives you an idea of how busy he was:
